Method: Base Coat Method - Undercoat, Select and paint base colours, wash, use the same colours to highlight.

Paints used: Revell (R), Games Workshop (GW) and Vallejo (V)

Horses


To speed up the horses I choose not have very much variation. Nearly all horses would be brown except for the Trumpeter whose horse is usually grey.

1. Assemble, clean all horses
2. Undercoat with Black R302 or Basalt Gey V869
3. Heavy dry brush brown horses with Scorched Brown (GW)
4. Highlights, 1st - Bestial Brown (GW). 2nd - Black Badab (GW). 3rd Light dry brush Bestial Brown (GW)
5. If any horses are having "socks" use 1st Fortress Grey (GW), 2nd Skull White (GW), 3rd white V951 - Repeat for Nose/Head colours
